November 2024

Monthly update:

What a lovely start to winter! With new signs for the pedal up, winter weather helping with maintenance and a brilliant turn out to this months maintenance day.

Maintenance day:

Committee members present: 3

Community volunteers: 16

We carried work out on the following:

FreeRide - Step up lip re worked with all the corners and jumps after it being buffed out and all braking bumps removed.

Site-wide litter pick

Leafs raked off all trails allowing for clear visibility.

Branches removed from fallen limb over Berm Burner.

Signs installed for the “Pedal up” trail

Monthly observations:

A brilliant start to winter with between 30-40 riders present while we were carrying out the maintenance. Litter is low, trails are well maintained and everyone is happy.

Future:

We will need to organise an annual general meeting to discuss plans going into 2025. (Estimated January 25)

Thanks for reading this months Dirt Diary and we look forwards to seeing you at the next maintenance day on Sunday 29th December.
