March/April 2025

Monthly update:

And so it begins, the season of DRY trails! This Dirt Diary report comes from March and April.

Maintenance day March:

Committee members present:2

Community volunteers: 10

Maintenance day April:

Committee members present:2

Community volunteers: 7

We carried work out on the following:

OG Mid berms

Freeride Step up

General maintenance down each trail

Monthly observations:

It's dry, and because of this the team have had to haul water up onto the trails to keep them running.

Surrons persist to be an issue in the woodland but they are respectful enough not to ride the trails. Regular reports being sent to social media of multiple electric motorbikes being seen in the woodlands.

Litter - Always persists and was particularly bad over the Easter break. We continue to build our community and a dedicated crew are always in the woods cleaning up, big thankyou to those who do it you know who you are.

Site remains well loved and used by MTB riders as we get into the good weather.

Future:

We will keep maintaining the trails on the last Sunday of every month.
