February 24th 2024

We accomplished a lot and have made the upper FREERIDE much better. Starting at the top we pushed the first main berm back to allow for a better flow into the “shark fin” feature. Next we removed braking bumps and re added the right hand lip option on the “motorway” section with the table top before the bomb hole getting a re worked lip and on the landing the drainage issue has been resolved. Dirt was added to the bomb hole run into the step up as it has been getting a bit too beat up over the winter.

General observations for this month: Trails were really busy on the day, with 25+ people riding the hill. A wide spread in age users but a noticeably high number of teenagers with all the correct MTB gear and all wearing helmets. Litter levels are low across the site.
