Trail Name: Free Ride

 

Location: Hemlock Stone Trail

Weather and Ground Conditions

•⁠  ⁠Weather: Dry

•⁠  ⁠Ground Conditions: Hard/Dusty

 

Maintenance Activities

•⁠  ⁠Maintenance carried out on the Free Ride and lower OG. 

•⁠  ⁠Site wide litter pick

 

Activities Undertaken:

•⁠  ⁠Step up lip re worked to make it less kicky.

•⁠  ⁠Step up landing pushed back due to people over shooting the landing in the dry conditions.

•⁠  ⁠OG last berm re instated to avoid people crossing berm burner. 

  

Completion Status:

•⁠  ⁠All work carried out completed.

Tools and Equipment Used

•⁠  ⁠Regular tools

•⁠  ⁠25l of water used to help pack lip in. 

 

Observations

•⁠  ⁠Low litter on the site despite summer being the busiest period. 

•⁠  ⁠Generally the trails are holding up well in the summer months despite the lack of rain.

Next Steps:

•⁠  ⁠Re pack in step up lip if it starts to rut up. 

•⁠  ⁠Re work lower OG to make the bottom section more popular.
